Staying updated on new developments in the market
As a manufacturer, it is important that we keep abreast of new developments in the market, which is why Frants again this year participated at the Interlift - International Trade Fair for Elevators, Components and Accessories, which ran from October 15-18 in Augsburg Trade Fair Center, Germany. Beyond that, it is always a pleasure to greet colleagues and competitors, as well as make contacts for the benefit of the further development of our business and ideas.
Interlift - International Trade Fair for Elevators, Components and Accessories
Interlift, is one of the world's largest elevator trade fairs, it is held every two years. At the fair, manufacturers present their latest innovations and latest trends regarding elevator technology. It is primarily small and medium-sized manufacturers that specialize in elevator components that exhibit with booth stands. There are almost 600 booth stands and around 20,000 visitors from all over the world over the course of the 4 days.
At the fair, elevator installations and prefabricated components, escalators, parking systems, elevator components, gears, controls, monitoring and safety systems, elevator cabins, elevator doors, cables, service and display elements, hydraulics, accessories, trade magazines and trade unions are exhibited.
2019's trade fair take-aways
At the fair it was clear that there is a huge boom in the elevator industry for the time being. Especially small indoor elevator solutions, were so massively represented that they were impossible to ignore. However, in HYDRO-CON we can still pride ourselves on our quality products, which, unlike the many products represented at the fair, are so hardy that they can also handle outdoor placement in the Nordic climate.
In these times of climate change, there was of course also a focus on energy-saving solutions, which is positive as the more sectors we can get to focus on the topic, the greater the benefit for all of us and the world in which we live. Sustainability, recycling and the saving of energy play a hugely important role internally at HYDRO-CON, and this is reflected in all our internal processes and as well as the further development of our products - you can read more about our sustainable solutions here.
